Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What happens after I book an IT consultation?

Our team reviews your details and gets in touch within the day or tomorrow to arrange a time that suits you. From there we follow our four stage process: initial discussion, assessment and recommendations, implementation plan, then ongoing support.

Who will I speak with?

Your IT consultation is with a member of our Sydney-based team in Norwest, not an offshore call centre. You will talk with people who work across Microsoft 365, cyber security, cloud and day-to-day managed IT support for small and medium businesses.

Do we have to commit to anything?

No. An IT consultation is a conversation about your goals and your current setup. There is no obligation to sign up afterwards.

Can you work with our existing IT provider or internal IT person?

Yes. We regularly work alongside internal IT staff and existing providers, or take over the full stack if you'd rather have one team accountable for both support and security.

What should we have ready?

Nothing formal is needed for an IT consultation. It helps to know roughly how many staff and devices you have, the systems you rely on (such as Microsoft 365 or line-of-business software), and the problems you most want solved.

What can we cover in an IT consultation?

Anything that affects how your business runs day to day. Common topics include unreliable devices or networks, Microsoft 365 licensing and setup, backup and recovery, moving servers to the cloud, and cyber security. If security is front of mind, we can walk you through how your current setup compares with the small business guidance published by the Australian Cyber Security Centre.

What do we get out of it?

You leave with a clearer picture of where your IT stands and what to tackle first. Where it makes sense, we follow up with written recommendations, an implementation plan with timelines and costs, and options for ongoing support, so you can decide in your own time.
